The accommodation

The property is entirely walled and overlooks the village and the Loire, offering exceptional panoramic views. It is built on thold Rochecorbon castle and adjoins the Lanterne, the former lookout post and only vestige of the castle that gave its name to the area: the Pavillon de la Lanterne.

The gîte is housed in an 18th-century stone outbuilding of approx. 120 m² with wifi access. It comprises a large living room on the first floor with exposed stonework: semi-separate lounge with wood-burning stove and television, dining area and fully-equipped open-plan kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer…). There’s also a courtyard with an old bread oven (condemned), equipped with occasional tables for meals and a ping-pong table.

Upstairs, 3 bedrooms overlook the garden and 2 bathrooms with shower, towel dryer and hairdryer + 1 separate toilet.

The 1st bedroom has its own private bathroom, a Queen-size bed, a wardrobe and a desk,

The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom with washing machine and WC. The 1st, smaller bedroom has 2 single beds and a chest of drawers, while the 2nd has a queen-size bed, wardrobe and desk.

All rooms have blackout curtains and a fan. Linen is provided, and beds are made up on arrival.

Finally, the gîte has a large garden area, for exclusive use, with garden furniture (dining table, parasol, armchairs and chiliennes) and barbecue.
